Red Wings, Blues to play in Kraft Hockeyville USA game

Calumet - the winner of Kraft Hockeyville™ USA 2019 - will host the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues for an NHL preseason game on Thursday, Sept. 26. The small town, which earned its designation as this year's most spirited hockey community in America after amassing the most votes in the online Kraft Hockeyville™ USA 2019 contest, won $150,000 in rink upgrades, $10,000 in equipment from NHLPA Goals & Dreams and the opportunity to host the NHL preseason game. NBC Sports will provide live coverage of Kraft Hockeyville USA 2019 at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Teams + Date To Be Announced TONIGHT

The National Hockey League, two mysterious NHL teams, NBC Sports and Kraft will be teaming up to make the announcement the Copper Country can’t wait to hear - who will be playing an exhibition game in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula this year!

Tune into the NBC Sports Network for the pre-game show prior to the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins tonight, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, for the special announcement! The exact time for the announcement is currently unknown.
